01Who we are

Pelagos is operated by Alexandre Bakhtiarov, trading as Pelagos ("we", "us"). Contact: hello@pelagoscyprus.com. Postal address: Possidon Beach Gardens, 7560 Pervolia, Larnaca, Cyprus. For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Alexandre Bakhtiarov is the data controller responsible for your personal data.

02What we collect and why

We collect personal data only when you give it to us or when it is generated as you use the site:

• Email address: when you request our buyer's guide or contact us. Used to send you the guide and, only with your separate consent, occasional market updates. Legal basis: consent.
• Booking details (name, email, your answers to a few questions): if you book a call. Used to prepare for and hold that call. Legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to any agreement.
• Email correspondence: if you email us, we keep the message to reply and for our records. Legal basis: legitimate interest in responding.
• Website analytics: privacy-focused, aggregated statistics about site visits (pages viewed, approximate region, device type). This data does not identify you personally. Legal basis: legitimate interest in improving the site.

03The tools we use (processors)

We use a small number of trusted service providers who process data on our behalf:

• MailerLite: email list and delivery.
• Calendly: call bookings.
• Cloudflare: website hosting, email forwarding, and privacy-focused analytics.
• Google: our email inbox receives forwarded messages.

Each processes data under its own privacy terms and appropriate safeguards. Some may process data outside the European Economic Area, under standard contractual protections.

04How long we keep it

We keep your data only as long as needed for the purpose collected: newsletter data until you unsubscribe; booking and enquiry data for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.

05Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data, to withdraw consent at any time, and to object to processing. To exercise any of these, email hello@pelagoscyprus.com. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority; in Cyprus this is the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection.

06Cookies

The consent banner lets you choose. We use only essential cookies plus, with your consent, privacy-focused analytics. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

07Changes

We may update this policy; the "last updated" date above shows when.
